DEPA Handy on a Mobile [Cell] Phone

Shop floor Engineers and Supervisors require in-situ testing of production goods without having to move them to the testing bay or to the laboratory. (Refractories, Electrodes, Abrasives, Insulators, Wooden Logs etc.,). This resulted in the DEPA Handy.

DEPA Handy's Hardware is a Mobile (Cell) phone a PDA. The software downloads to the PDA. The DEPA handy is programmed to display and save results or to e-mail / sms them. (Provided your PDA has communication facility).

The Software is structured in layers that continuously pipe through data and information amongst them. These layers appear as Tabs on the EPA-Handy Screen. The simple testing process comprises of :
a. Selecting the shape of sample you wish to test and entering its dimensions and mass.

b. Switching over to Test Tab and gently tapping the sample. The Data and Frequency FFT Graphs immediately see screen below.

c. Tab back to earlier screen and read the results.
